Laura A. Roberts, Psy.D. is a licensed Psychologist in Oregon and Washington. Dr. Roberts specializes in the treatment of anorexia, bulimia, compulsive overeating, anxiety, depression, trauma recovery and the issues of female children, adolescents and adults. Previous clinical experience includes teaching at the graduate school level, community presentations, adolescent and adult inpatient services, general outpatient therapy services since 1989, and specialized training in the integration of theology and clinical psychology within the Christian community. As a member of the Academy for Eating Disorders, the Columbia River Eating Disorder Network, and the American Psychological Association, Dr. Roberts draws from the research-based treatment fields of cognitive behavioral and family-based treatment, as well as working with local registered dieticians and medical providers as an outpatient team. In her free time, she enjoys equestrian activities, gardening, travel, service work in Africa, play with her rescue dogs and all forms of dance from hip hop to swing.
