James C. Putman, Psy.D. is a licensed Psychologist in Oregon. Dr. Putman has been providing individual, couples and family therapy with children, adolescents and adults since 1986. His clinical experience has included work in private practice, community and hospital settings. Dr. Putman also has been an instructor of counseling at the graduate level.  His area of practice includes treatment of mood disturbances, sexual problems, including men’s issues and sexual abuse.  A large part of Dr. Putman’s practice includes marital therapy focusing on Emotion Focused Therapy.  Faith and spiritual issues are also an important part of his practice.  In his spare time, Dr. Putman enjoys fishing, his mules, wood working and most of all family time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
