Daniel A. Rodriguez, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist from Troutdale, Oregon. He earned his doctorate in clinical psychology at the George Fox University Graduate School of Clinical Psychology (2019). He also received both his master’s degree in clinical psychology (2017) and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from George Fox University (2013). He completed his predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship with I Ola Lāhui Rural Hawaiʻi Behavioral Health, a training site for culturally-focused, primary care psychology within rural and underserved communities. This site provides care to underrepresented populations with a particular focus on Native Hawaiian communities across the islands. Dr. Rodriguez—or Dr. Danny as his patients know him—is committed to justice and equity for all, especially in the healthcare system. As part of this work, he strives to remove historical barriers to care, particularly for underrepresented or marginalized groups. He is passionate about working with these populations, especially ethnic minorities, and has engaged in multiple research experiences on multicultural psychology and diversity. He brings experience in bilingual (Spanish) therapy and works with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, religious/spiritual difficulties, grief/bereavement, anger, relationship concerns, and LGBTQ+ issues.
